The Project.
Lee’s Court, based in Darwen, faced significant roof damage caused by water build-up beneath the waterproofing layer, leaving the surface soft and unstable. Our team removed a large section of the roof, stripping out the saturated insulation right down to the original structure. Once the area was fully dried, we applied a vapour barrier to ensure long-lasting moisture protection.
Learn about the process we followed from start to finish below.
Before We Began.
Before work began, the roof at Lee’s Court showed clear signs of water damage, with trapped moisture and saturated insulation creating a spongy, unstable surface.

Completed Work.
Following the refurbishment, the roof at Lee’s Court is now fully restored and protected. We installed new 120mm PIR insulation, applied a liquid waterproofing system, and finished with a durable top coat. All edges and junctions were carefully sealed, creating a robust and watertight surface. The result is a clean, stable, and professional-looking roof that will provide long-lasting protection with reduced maintenance needs.
